Crankshaft Front Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Inspect the crankshaft damper and engine front cover for damage that might cause the crankshaft front seal to fail.
    2. NOTE: Lubricate parts with engine oil before assembly.

  2. Using the special tools, install the crankshaft front oil seal.
  3. Install the crankshaft damper. For additional information, refer to CRANKSHAFT PULLEY .
