Drive Pinion Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the pinion flange (4851). For additional information, refer to DRIVE PINION FLANGE .
  2. Using a screwdriver, force the metal flange of the rear axle drive pinion seal (4676) up and strike it with a hammer.

  3. Install gripping pliers, and remove the seal.
