Selector Lever: Removal

  1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder; refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder - Functional Lock Cylinder inSTEERING COLUMN .
  2. Remove the upper steering column shroud (3530) and the rubber shift lever cover.

  3. Remove the gearshift lever (7210).
    1. Disconnect the shift control selector lever harness connector.
    2. Remove and discard the gearshift lever pin (7G357).
    3. Remove the gearshift lever.
