Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove OSS sensor.
    1. Remove the OSS sensor screw.
    2. Remove the OSS sensor from the transmission.
      • Inspect the OSS sensor O-ring for damage. If damaged, install a new O-ring.
