Possible Cause

- Low brake fluid level
- Parking brake engaged
- An open circuit in the brake fluid level switch return ground circuit 31-CG7 (BK/BU)
- A short to ground in circuit 8-GC7 (WH/RD)
- An open circuit in the brake fluid level switch input signal circuit 8-GC7 (WH/RD)
- A defective low brake fluid level switch
- Front electronic module (FEM)
- Instrument cluster
