Removal (Contour & Mystique)

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove parking brake cable from caliper operating lever. Remove cotter pin and guide pin. See Figure. Remove caliper bolt cover, and remove caliper bolt. Disconnect brake hose from caliper, and remove caliper from anchor plate. Remove brake pads from caliper anchor plate.
