- DG1 KOER AND CONTINUOUS MEMORY DTCS P0325 AND P0326: CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF KS1
- Verify the KS is connected and properly installed.
- KS connector disconnected.
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS Connector, Component Side ( - )KS Connector, Component Side KS1- KS1+ Is the resistance between 4.39M ohms - 5.35M ohms?
Yes No KEY OFF.
GO to DG3.INSTALL a new KS. - DG2 KOER AND CONTINUOUS MEMORY DTCS P0330 AND P0331: CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF KS2
- Verify the KS is connected and properly installed.
- KS connector disconnected.
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS2 Sensor Connector, Component Side ( - )KS2 Sensor Connector, Component Side KS2- KS2+ Is the resistance between 4.39M ohms - 5.35M ohms?
Yes No KEY OFF.
GO to DG4.INSTALL a new KS2 sensor. - DG3 CHECK THE KS1+ CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN IN THE HARNESS
- PCM connector disconnected.
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS Connector, Harness Side ( - )PCM Connector, Harness Side KS1+ KS1+ Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes No GO to DG5. REPAIR open circuit. - DG4 CHECK THE KS2+ CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS2 Sensor Connector, Harness Side ( - )PCM Connector, Harness Side KS2+ KS2+ Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes No GO to DG6. REPAIR open circuit. - DG5 CHECK THE KS1- CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS Connector, Harness Side ( - )PCM Connector, Harness Side KS1- KS1- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes No GO to DG7. REPAIR open circuit. - DG6 CHECK THE KS2- CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS2 Sensor Connector, Harness Side ( - )PCM Connector, Harness Side KS2- KS2- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes No GO to DG8. REPAIR open circuit. - DG7 CHECK THE KS1+ CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS Connector, Component Side ( - )Vehicle battery KS1+ Negative terminal Is the resistance greater than 10K ohms?
Yes No GO to DG9. REPAIR short circuit to GND. - DG8 CHECK THE KS2+ CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS2 Sensor Connector, Component Side ( - )Vehicle battery KS2+ Negative terminal Is the resistance greater than 10K ohms?
Yes No GO to DG10. REPAIR short circuit to GND. - DG9 CHECK THE KS1- CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS Connector, Harness Side ( - )Vehicle battery KS1- Negative terminal Is the resistance greater than 10K ohms?
Yes No GO to DG11. REPAIR short circuit to GND. - DG10 CHECK THE KS2- CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS2 Sensor Connector, Harness Side ( - )Vehicle battery KS2- Negative terminal Is the resistance greater than 10K ohms?
Yes No GO to DG12. REPAIR short circuit to GND. - DG11 CHECK THE KS1+ CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO POWER IN THE HARNESS
- Measure the resistance between:
( + )KS Connector, Harness Side ( - )PCM Connector, Harness Side KS1+ VPWR KS1+ VREF Are the resistances greater than 10K ohms?
Yes No GO to DG13. REPAIR short circuit to PWR. - DG12 CHECK THE KS2+ CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO POWER IN THE HARNESS
