Seat Belt Buckle PRETENSIONER/Switch Assembly: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
  2. Remove front seat. See FRONT SEAT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove appropriate seat side trim panel screws and trim panel. Remove seat belt buckle pretensioner/switch assembly mounting bolt and pretensioner/switch assembly.
