Test L: Restraint System-Side Curtain Air Bag Status (DTC B2294): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks all side curtain air bag circuits for faults. On models not equipped with side curtain air bags, RCM monitors bridge resistor and related circuits for faults. On all models, if RCM detects low resistance, open circuit, short to battery or short to ground, it will store DTC B2294 in memory. AIR BAG warning light will also flash Light Flash Code (LFC).
