Test Ab: Seat Track Position Sensor Circuit Short To Battery (DTC B1982): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) monitors seat track position switch circuits for faults. If RCM detects a short to battery, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) C1982 in memory and flash Code 7-11 on AIR BAG warning light.
