Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Remove inner right lower instrument panel reinforcement mounting bracket. Remove passenger-side air bag module bolts. See Figure . Release passenger-side air bag module retaining tabs and separate module for instrument panel. Remove passenger-side air bag.
