Retrieving & Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below driver's side instrument panel, right of steering column. Follow manufacturers instructions to retrieve and clear codes for desired module. See appropriate table under DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  table for a listing of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and appropriate test procedure.
