Front Seat: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
  2. Remove front seat belt anchor cover, anchor nut and seat belt anchor. Remove seat track front mounting bolts and discard bolts. Connect negative battery cable. Move front seat to most forward position. Remove seat track rear mounting bolt covers. Remove seat track rear mounting bolts and discard bolts. Disconnect front seat electrical connectors and remove front seat.
