Front Side Crash Sensor: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
  2. Remove appropriate door opening weatherstrip. Remove appropriate B-pillar trim panel. Disconnect front side crash sensor electrical connector. See Figure . Remove front side crash sensor mounting bolt and remove sensor.
