Front Seat: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
  2. Remove front seat track cover and mounting bolts. Connect negative battery cable. Move front seat to most forward position. Disconnect negative battery cable and wait at least one minute. Remove rear seat track covers and mounting bolts. Disconnect front seat electrical connectors. Remove front seat.
