Selector Lever: Removal

Remove the center console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL & CONSOLE -- FUSION, MILAN & MKZ article.
Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the selector lever.

Release the tab on the selector lever cable and remove it from the selector lever housing.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the 4 nuts and remove the selector lever.
