The rain sensitive wipers operate erratically/ inconsistent operation/too sensitive or not sensitive enough to moisture	Wiring, terminals or connectors Rain sensor mounting bracket not secured to the windshield Wiper blades Rain sensor gel-type lens Rain sensor Wiper motor	GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
The wash and wipe function is inoperative	Circuitry Blocked washer hose/washer jet Washer pump motor Multifunction switch Wiper/washer module	If the washer pump is inoperative, GO to PINPOINT TEST F . If the washer pump is operative, INSTALL a new Wiper/Washer Module. TEST the system for normal operation.
The washer pump is inoperative	Circuitry Blocked washer hose/washer jet Washer pump motor Multifunction switch Wiper/washer module	GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
The headlamps do not illuminate when the wipers are on	Circuitry Wiper/washer module Smart Junction Box (SJB)	GO to PINPOINT TEST G .
