    • If the rod is bent or damaged, REPAIR as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • If the rod is OK, INSTALL a new door latch. REFER to FRONT DOOR LATCH  or REAR DOOR LATCH  in this service information. TEST the system for normal operation.
