Electronic Engine Controls

The electronic engine controls consist of the:

The PCM carries out the following functions:

The CMP sensor:

The CKP sensor:

The MAF sensor:

The CHT sensor:

NOTE: If the cylinder head is being replaced, the CHT must be replaced.

The HO2S:

The CMS:

The VCT oil control solenoid:

The KS:

NOTE: There are 2 KS, one is located on the RH cylinder head and one is mounted on the engine block in the intake manifold valley.

The MAP sensor:
