Wheel Studs: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the wheel bearing and wheel hub. For additional information, refer to WHEEL BEARING AND WHEEL HUB  in this service information.
  3. Using a press, remove the wheel stud from the wheel hub.
