- Driveshaft tubes
- Mounting brackets
- Flanges
- Housing and cover damage
- Differential bearings
- Differential gearsets
- Pinion bearings
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
