Test C: Ignition Switch Inoperative

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect ignition switch harness connector C250. Measure voltage between ground and ignition switch harness connector C250 terminals B1 (Yellow wire), B3 (Yellow wire), B4 (Light Green/Violet wire) and B5 (Light Green/Violet wire). See Fig 1. If battery voltage exists at all terminals, test ignition switch. See IGNITION SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If ignition switch is faulty, replace ignition switch and retest system. See IGNITION SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If battery voltage does not exist at any terminal, repair open in appropriate wire(s).
