Test E: Starter Spins But Engine Does Not Crank

  1. Check The Flywheel

    Remove starter motor. See STARTER MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Inspect flywheel and drive pinion for wear or damage. If flywheel or drive pinion is worn or damaged, replace starter motor and flywheel. Check system operation. If flywheel and drive pinion are not worn or damaged, replace starter motor.
