Wiper Mounting Arm and Pivot Shaft: Installation

  1. Position the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly.
    • Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly nuts and bolts.
    • Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
  3. Install the cowl panel grilles. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS article.
  4. Connect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING & CABLES article.
  5. Check the wiper pivot arm adjustment. For additional information, refer to Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment .
