Pinpoint Test S: The Individual Reversing Lamp Is Inoperative

  1. S1 CHECK CIRCUIT 57 (BK) FOR AN OPEN 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Inoperative Reversing Lamp

    • Measure the resistance between the LH reversing lamp C487-1, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground; or between the RH reversing lamp C488-1, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground.
    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 
    1. YES  : REPAIR circuit 140 (BK/PK) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. NO  : REPAIR circuit 57 (BK) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
