Axle Pivot Bushings: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Remove the coil spring. See COIL SPRING
.NOTE: In order to obtain clearance for pivot bolt removal when servicing the right front axle, it may be necessary to raise the left side of the vehicle to relieve the weight on the suspension.
- Remove the bolt and lower the pivot end of the front axle. Using the Adapters, (T80T-5638-A2, T78P-5638-A3, T78P-5638-A1, and T78P-5638-A4) remove the axle pivot bushing. See Fig 1 .
