Removal and Installation

NOTE: Left side shown in illustration, right side similar.
  1. Remove the front and rear rocker panel molding screws.

  2. If equipped, remove the running board. For additional information, refer to RUNNING BOARD .
  3. NOTE: When removing the rocker panel molding, use a wedge-type tool to assist in the removal. Start at one end and proceed to the opposite end.
    NOTE: The rocker panel molding retainer clips are one-time use only. New clips must be used during installation.

  4. Remove the 6 rocker panel molding pin-type retainers.
  5. Remove the rocker panel molding.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
