Removal (Left)

Disconnect negative battery cable(s). Remove air cleaner. On Expedition and F150, unbolt power steering reservoir bracket and position reservoir, and bracket assembly aside. On all models, disconnect PCV hose from valve cover. Remove EGR manifold tube. Disconnect fuel injection electrical connections. Loosen valve cover retaining bolts. Retaining bolts are part of valve cover and should not be removed. Remove valve cover and gasket.
