Removal & Installation

Hold upper shock absorber stud and remove retaining nut. Raise and support vehicle. Remove lower nut and disconnect shock absorber from lower mount. Compress shock absorber and remove shock absorber. To install, reverse removal procedure. Coat upper spring seat with soap solution and install NEW bushing. Tighten bolts or nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
