Differential - 4WD: Assembly

Using a suitable press, install a new differential side bearing. Only use the inner bearing race to install.

Install the VSS drive gear.
Install the spacer.
Using a suitable press, install a new differential side bearing. Only use the inner bearing race to install.

Install the final drive gear.
Install the 10 final drive gear bolts.
- Tighten in the sequence shown in illustration to 120 Nm (89 lb-ft).

Install the reduction gear.
Install the 10 reduction gear bolts.
- Tighten in the sequence shown in illustration to 96 Nm (71 lb-ft).
