Hood Latch: Removal

    NOTE: Do not remove the nut.
  1. Loosen the hood latch nut.
    2. NOTE: Mark the hood latch position prior to removal of the hood latch bolts.
  2. Remove the 2 hood latch bolts.
  3. Disconnect the hood latch release cable.
    1. Release the cable conduit.
    2. Disconnect the cable.

  4. Remove the hood latch.
  5. If necessary, remove the hood latch release lever.
