Removal and Installation

- Remove the antenna mast.
- Using a suitable tool, remove the stanchion.
- Disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna lead-in cable.
- Release the antenna cable grommet from the vehicle body.
- Remove the RH fender splash shield. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
- Remove the nut and the AM/FM antenna base.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Access the antenna cable connection behind the RH cowl side trim panel.
