Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Make sure the headlamp switch and the ignition switch are in the OFF position.
All vehicles
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING -- ESCAPE, ESCAPE HYBRID, MARINER & MARINER HYBRID

Escape
- Remove the 4 fender splash shield bolts.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
- Remove the 4 fender splash shield pin-type retainers.
- Position the fender splash shield aside.
All vehicles
- Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector.
- Release the 3 retainers and remove the fog lamp.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
