Roof Opening Panel: Notes

The roof opening panel consists of the following:

The roof opening panel is an electronically operated panel that can be opened or closed by pressing a switch located on the overhead console. The roof opening panel is equipped with one-touch open, one-touch close and one-touch vent features.

To open the roof opening panel, press and release the rear portion of the control switch to the second detent position. The roof opening panel glass will automatically open to the comfort position (approximately 100 mm [4 in] from the full open position). The roof opening panel will not open beyond the comfort position. The roof opening panel can be stopped at any time by pressing the control switch a second time.

To close the roof opening panel, press and release the front portion of the control switch to the second detent position. The roof opening panel will automatically close. The roof opening panel can be stopped at any time by pressing the control switch a second time.

When the roof opening panel glass is in the full CLOSED position, the rear portion can be automatically raised to the VENT position to provide ventilation by pressing the front portion of the control switch. The roof opening panel glass can be closed by pressing the rear portion of the control switch.
