Catalytic Converter - 2.5L Manifold, Hybrid: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the exhaust intermediate pipe. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST INTERMEDIATE PIPE - 2.5L, HYBRID .
- Remove the 2 exhaust bracket bolts.
- Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) and the Catalyst Monitor Sensor (CMS) electrical connectors.
- Remove and discard the 7 catalytic converter manifold nuts.
- Remove the catalytic converter manifold from the vehicle.
- Discard the catalytic converter manifold gasket.
- Remove and discard the 7 catalytic converter manifold studs.
- Clean and inspect the catalytic converter manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION .
