In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING -- ESCAPE, ESCAPE HYBRID, MARINER & MARINER HYBRID .
  2. Remove the automatic transaxle. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the 6 bolts and the flexplate.
