Preliminary Checks

Verify battery condition.
Inspect accessory drive belt and tensioner.
Inspect Gray fusible link "A" at battery junction box.
Inspect battery junction box fuse No. 50 (10-amp).
Check all connections for looseness or corrosion.

Repair any problems that are found. If no problems are found, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
