Selector Lever Knob: Removal

Vehicles equipped with a 2.5L engine
- Remove the selector lever trim ring.
- Remove the center console trim panel.
- Disconnect the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) electrical connector.
All vehicles
- Slide the selector lever knob bezel downward to gain access to the 2 selector lever knob screws.NOTE: Fusion/Milan shown in illustration, MKZ similar.
- Remove the 2 screws from the selector lever knob. Remove the selector lever knob and selector lever knob bezel.NOTE: For vehicles equipped with a 2.5L engine, it is necessary to route the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) harness out of the selector lever bezel when removing the selector lever knob.NOTE: Fusion/Milan shown in illustration, MKZ similar.
