Trouble Shooting

Verify customer's problem by operating system. Check fuses No. 2 (5-amp), No. 6 (5-amp) and No. 30 (30-amp) in central junction box. Central junction box is located under left side instrument panel. Check passive anti-theft system transceiver, powertrain control module and ignition switch for damage. Check bulbs and wiring harness for damaged, loose or corroded connections. Check ignition lock cylinder and encoded ignition key. If problem exists, repair as necessary. If problem does not exist, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
