DTC P0512: Starter Request Circuit

DTC P0512: STARTER REQUEST CIRCUIT

Description:  Indicates the one touch integrated starting system voltage circuit to the starter relay has a short to voltage.
Possible Causes: 
  • Short to voltage
Diagnostic Aids:  Refer to Starting System, PCM DTC Chart in the appropriate STARTING SYSTEMS article , to continue diagnosis.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All Refer to the Description, Possible Causes and Diagnostic Aids for the appropriate DTC.
