P1A13 - Hybrid Powertrain Control Module - Regenerative Braking Disabled

P1A13 - HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE - REGENERATIVE BRAKING DISABLED

Description:  This is an informational DTC and is set as a result of the torque monitor disabling the regenerative braking. This does not shutdown the vehicle but causes the fuel economy of the vehicle to decrease due to loss of regenerative braking.
Possible Causes: 
  • Excess powertrain deceleration torque or unintended vehicle motion
  • Accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor or harness
  • Brake pedal position (BPP) sensor or harness
Diagnostic Aids:  Diagnose all DTCs related to the items in possible causes.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
