P0A7C - Motor Electronic Over Temperature

P0A7C - MOTOR ELECTRONIC OVER TEMPERATURE

Description:  The motor electronics coolant temperature (MECT) sensor indicated an over temperature condition.
Possible Causes: 
  • Motor electronics cooling system concerns
  • Motor electronics cooling system (MECS) pump
  • Damaged MECT sensor
  • MECT harness concerns
  • DC/DC converter concerns
  • Damaged transaxle
Diagnostic Aids: 
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
