Removal And Installation

CAUTION:
While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power steering components may occur.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler. For additional information, refer to TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION COOLING article.
- Using a suitable suction device, remove the power steering fluid from the fluid reservoir.
- Compress the clamp and disconnect the return hose.
- Compress the clamp and disconnect the power steering cooler-to-reservoir return hose from the cooler.
- Remove the 2 power steering fluid cooler bolts and the fluid cooler.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
