Oil Level Indicator and Tube: Installation

4.6L (2V) engine 

    NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.
  1. Using a new O-ring seal, position the oil level indicator and install the bolt and the nut.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

    2. 5.4L (2V) engine 

    NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.
  2. Using a new O-ring seal, position the oil level indicator and install the bolt.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  3. Install the front oil level indicator and tube support bracket nut.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

    4. All vehicles 

  4. Install the LH exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to Exhaust Manifold - LH .
  5. Install the ACL outlet pipe and the ACL. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING article.
