Pinpoint Test C: No Power In Run

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multi-meter probes.
  1. C1 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH 
    1. YES  : Go to  C2.
    2. NO  : INSTALL a new ignition switch. REFER to Ignition Switch . TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. C2 CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE CJB 
    • Disconnect: CJB Fuse 6 (10A)
    • Disconnect: CJB Fuse 7 (10A)
    • Disconnect: CJB Fuse 8 (30A)
    • Disconnect: CJB Fuse 9 (5A)
    • Key in ON position.

    • Measure the voltage between ground and:
      • CJB fuse 6 (10A) cavity, circuit 687 (GY/YE), input side.
      • CJB fuse 7 (10A) cavity, circuit 687 (GY/YE), input side.
      • CJB fuse 8 (15A) cavity, circuit 1499 (PK/LG), input side.
      • CJB fuse 9 (5A) cavity, circuit 297 (BK/LG), input side.
    • Are the voltages greater than 10 volts? 
    1. YES  : VERIFY the concern. Go to Symptom Chart .
    2. NO  : INSPECT fuse 6 (10A), if OK, REPAIR circuit 687 (GY/YE).

      INSPECT fuse 7 (10A), if OK, REPAIR circuit 687 (GY/YE).

      INSPECT fuse 8 (15A), if OK, REPAIR circuit 1499 (PK/LG).

      INSPECT fuse 9 (5A), if OK, REPAIR circuit 297 (BK/LG).

      TEST the system for normal operation.
