Econoline, Excursion & F250/F350 Super Duty

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 31 other vehicles, including the 2001 Mercury Villager, 2001 Mercury Mountaineer, 2001 Lincoln Navigator, 2001 Ford Windstar, and 2001 Ford Ranger. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Rear side lean can be adjusted .38" (10 mm) by installing shim D7TZ-5742-A on low side, or both sides if rear is low. Raise and support vehicle so weight is off springs and tires are still touching ground. Loosen 4 "U" bolt nuts. Separate spring from axle. Install shim with recess facing upward inbetween spring and spring seat. Tighten 4 "U" bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
