- Drain the Motor Electronics Cooling System (MECS). For additional information, refer to Motor Electronics Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Disconnect the MECS inlet and outlet hoses.
- Disconnect the harness connector.
- Remove the MECS coolant pump bolts and ground strap.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
