  • CHECK the operation of the power windows.
    • If the power windows operate correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. REFER to GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS article. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The door lock control switch illumination is inoperative
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Door lock switch
  • The individual component illumination is inoperative
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Message center switches
  • Headlamp switch
  • Traction assist/parking aid disable switch
  • Floor shifter
  • The instrument cluster (IC) illumination is inoperative
  • IC
  • The heating ventilating air conditioning (HVAC) module illumination is inoperative
  • HVAC module
  • CARRY OUT the network test.
    • If the scan tool communicates with the HVAC module, INSTALL a new HVAC module. REFER to CLIMATE CONTROL article. Test the system for normal operation.
  • The audio control module (ACM) illumination is inoperative
  • ACM
  • CARRY OUT the network test.
    • If the scan tool communicates with the ACM, REMOVE the ACM. REFER to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS article. SEND it to and authorized repair facility. Test the system for normal operation
