Seat Backrest Cover - Rear

NOTE:

- Remove the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Rear .
- Remove the head restraint(s).
- Remove the 2 screws and latch cover.
- Remove the 2 seat latch release handle screws.
- Remove the seat latch release handle.
- Detach the latch rod from the seat latch release handle.
- To aid installation, lock the latch using a flat-blade screwdriver before connecting the latch rod.
- Remove the seat latch release handle.
- Detach the latch rod from the seat latch release handle.
- Release the backrest cover J-clip.
- Unzip the backrest trim cover zipper.
- Squeeze together the tip of each head restraint guide and remove from the backrest frame.
- Note the alignment tab position for correct installation.
- If 60 percent backrest, remove the 2 screws and safety belt shield.
- Separate the hook-and-loop strips and remove the seat backrest trim cover.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
The inboard and outboard head restraint guides are not interchangeable.
NOTE:
Use care when separating the seat backrest trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.
NOTE:
Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
