Pinpoint Test C: The Power Seat Moves But Is Loose

  1. C1 CHECK THE FASTENING HARDWARE 
    • Check the fastening hardware and the condition of the seat track.
    • Is the fastening hardware and/or seat track loose? 
    1. YES  : TIGHTEN all fastening hardware to specification. INSTALL new seat track components as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. NO  : COMPARE the movement to a similar vehicle for reference. TEST the system for normal operation.
